Phillips, 2012 IL App (1st) (No. 1-10-1923, 5/15/12) 1. person is legally accountable for the conduct of another if before or during the commission of an offense, and with the intent to promote or facilitate that offense, he solicits, aids, abets, agrees, or attempts to aid another person in the planning or commission of an offense. Mere presence of the scene of crime does not render person accountable for an offense, although such presence may be considered with other circumstances when determining accountability.
