Chief Justice Kilbride took no part in the decision. This Cook County insurance dispute arose from 2001 automobile accident in which Martha Rosen, the appellee here, was injured. Phoenix Insurance Company is her insurer. The other \ \ underinsured motorist coverage was $500,000. Her policy provided for arbitration and also de novo nonbinding. Rosen filed claim with Phoenix, seeking to recover under the underinsured motorist coverage of her policy. The matter went to arbitration and Rosen was awarded $382,500.
