At his Cook County jury trial, Chicago police gave testimony as to how, in 2005, defendant was observed making what appeared to be drug sales on West Washington Street. When arrested, he had cash in his pockets and there was stash of packets in hole in nearby fence post, to which he had been observed going back and forth as he dealt with persons who approached him.
