  • The Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) today announced assistance for families affected by the Southern Illinois tornado. In light of last months tornado that devastated Harrisburg, DHS will issue replacement Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for food that was destroyed in the disaster.
