In 2007, Decatur police officer was investigating reported gas station theft when he observed this defendant, who matched the description which had been given of the suspect. Defendant ran away, but the officer stopped him and asked for identification. warrant check was run and backup arrived, but, while the officers were talking to the defendant, he began jumping around, fidgeting, and threatened to urinate on the squad car. He then took off running, and, while doing so, pulled out of his pocket two rod-like objects of five or six inches in length and threw them over six-foot high wooden fence. He
