.NEWS Illinois Department of Corrections FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CONTACT: December 2, 2011 Sharyn Elman (312) 814-5036 IDOC ALERT Inmate Escape while on Court Writ JOLIET Inmate Cesar Sanchez K55087 escaped from moving van during transport from court in Bridgeview, Illinois to Stateville Correctional Center in Crestwood at approximately 2:15 this afternoon. The Illinois Department of Corrections has notified all local law enforcement and taskforce teams; along with setting up command center to locate the offender. Sanchez' information and mug shot are on the IDOC website. He was wearing yellow jumpsuit and handcuffs at the time of his escape. If anyone has information please contact your local police department.
