  • Appellate citation: 382 Ill. App. 3d 935. JUSTICE KARMEIER delivered the judgment of the court, with opinion. Chief Justice Fitzgerald and Justices Freeman, Thomas, Kilbride, and Garman concurred in the judgment and opinion. Justice Burke took no part in the decision. In this Cook County case, this defendant, who had an accomplice, was convicted by a jury for an armed robbery in Evergreen Park and a subsequent attempted armed robbery in Oak Lawn, both on the same night in December of 2000. He received concurrent 12-year terms.
