Chief Justice Fitzgerald and Justices Freeman, Kilbride, Garman, Karmeier, and Burke concurred in the judgment and opinion. In 2004, this defendant was discovered, in a laundromat on the south side of Chicago, selling compact disc recordables which he had burned from commercially manufactured CDs.
