Jennings Director Division of Food Safety and Animal Protection Bureau of Animal Health Vol. No. Henry County Regains PRV Stage IV Status Henry County regained its pseudorabies Stage IV status on February 1, 2001. Feeder swine can again be sold from Henry County herds without herd monitoring test. The herd that had been under quarantine for PRV was completely depopulated and negative test was conducted on the repopulated herd. There are no other quarantined herds within the state. Illinois has begun the final countdown to Stage V, pseudorabies free. The state must go an entire year with no new cases of the disease reported that are not depopulated within days. Testing Captive Cervidae for Tuberculosis The single-cervical test (SCT) is the presumptive test for tuberculosis (TB) in cervidae and must be performed by accredited veterinarians trained by the Illinois or U.S. Department of Agri
