JUSTICE CUNNI NGHAM de livered the opinio of the ourt: The plaintiff , Auree Berr y, iled co mplaint in he circ uit court of Cook County against the defenda nt, Chade Fa shions, nc. (Cha de Fash ions), fo breac of contr act and iolation of the llinois Right of Publicity Act (765 LCS 1075/30 (West 2000)) (the Act). The trial court entered partial summary judgment for the plaintiff as to liability unde the Act. The issues of damages and breach of contract under the Act went to trial. When the plaintiff concluded her case, Chade Fashions filed motion for directed verdict and motion to vacate the partial summary judgment. The trial court granted both motions. The plaintiff subsequently filed motion to reconsider
