On Monday, December 17, fun filledactivity bags were distributed to Ms. Catalan's third grade students atWhittier Elementary School. From midOctober when Walk Across Illinoiskicked off, these third graders have been doing tremendous job fincreasing their phys ical activity and tracking their daily miles. From playingsoccer with friends to walking to school, these students are stayingactive and are committed to walking miles across Illinois. While their class was chosen at randomfrom all the classes reporting miles on www.WalkAcrossIllinois.org, Ms.Catalan told us we couldn't have selected more deserving group ofstudents.
