Description

Unfortunately, many computer systems designed to serve criminal justice and law enforcement agencies in Illinois lack a common language, but they must share information to facilitate day-to-day operation of the justice system. State criminal justice and law enforcement officials foresee a time when vital information will be electronically shared among police departments, government agencies, courts, and other criminal justice entities in Illinois. This issue concentrates on the development of integrated computer systems as a priority issue.
