Description

This report has been prepared for Governor Ryan's Commission on Capital Punishment to provide additional information on homicide victim and survivor issues. It is hoped that this information is useful in the Commission's consideration of possible improvements in the way criminal justice agencies and allied entities in the victim service community carry out their responsibilities. The focus groups convened for this study were intended to give family members of homicide victims an opportunity to comment on what it feels like to go through the criminal or juvenile justice system process.
