Description

The report examines and develops profiles of violent offenders sentenced to probation across the state of Illinois. It identifies groups of violent offenders who are at a high risk of recidivism and treatment failure. The data used come from a 2000 data collection effort by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) in collaboration with the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC).
