.Administrative Order (Amended) In The Appellate Court of Illinois Second District Article I. General Rules Rule (Amended) Requirements for documents filed in court (a) Every paper required or permitted to be filed in this court shall the following requirements: (I) The typeface must bc I2 point or larger, New preferred, (2) Black print on white opaque unglazed paper by 1" and paginated, with only one side of the paper used; (3) Text, including quotations, to be double-spaced, while headings may be single- ~ & ; (4) Margins must be at least inch on the left side with at least one inch margins on the other three side sidcs; (5) Securely bound on the lefi without obscuring the text; (6) Footnotes are discouraged (7) Citation of Illinois shall be to the Official Reports. Citations of case must bo by title, to the page of the volume where the begins, and to the pages upon which the pertinent matter appears.
