.Volume 1, Issue 1, Issue Volume 1, Issue The Treasurer's initiative per-mits the State Treasurer's Office to deposit state moneys at reduced interest rate as an incentive to local financial insti-tutions that contribute moneys at least equal to the interest reduction toward feasibility study for the preservation of the Mounds Historic Site. The Treasurer has partnered with U.S. Bank to generate much needed financial resources for the preservation of the Mounds and would welcome additional bank partners that have an interest in supporting these preservation efforts. As part of the restoration plan, Topinka has formed an advisory commission, inviting leaders from the historical preservation, tourism, and eco-nomic development sectors to advise her on the funding and development issues associated with the Mounds.
