Description
The annual case reports prepared by the Illinois Legislative Reference Bureau "review all reported decisions of the Federal courts, the Illinois Supreme Court, and the Illinois Appellate Court that affect the interpretation of the Illinois Constitution or statutes" (25 ILCS 135/5.05). Thus, (i) only those decisions making a significant constitutional or statutory interpretation are reviewed and (ii) the focus of those cases that are reviewed is on that constitutional or statutory interpretation and may not include a complete analysis of the decision.
