.Illinois Authors Children's Book Fair Best Seller! The 2000 Illinois Authors Book Fair on Nov. at the Illinois State Library in Springfield featured children's authors and was huge success. About 3,000 book lovers turned out for the day of activities and workshops and to purchase books written by the more than Illinois children's authors in attendance. Featured authors were seated in the library's atrium where they kept busy throughout the day signing their books for eager fans.
