Addendum to the Manual for Fabrication of Precast Prestressed Concrete Products (2009, August)
This addendum created August 7, 2009 provides updates or corrections to the Manual for Fabrication of Precast Prestressed Concrete Products created December 2008.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Program: Quality Plan (2009, September)
This Quality Plan outlines the controls, policies, procedures and requirements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Management System at IDOT. The system is structured to comply with the conditions set forth in the Departments Quality Manual, the ISO 9001:2008 international standard and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Bridge Closure on Int 80 in Bureau County (2010, July 19)
The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that three (3) bridges over Interstate 80 in Bureau County are scheduled for closures. From Thursday, July 22nd to Thursday, August 5th, 2010, 3100 East Road and 2600 East Road will be closed for repairs. Also, 3000 East Road will be closed for repairs from Thursday, August 5th to Tuesday, August 17th, 2010.

Bureau of Design and Environment Manual (2002)
The Illinois Department of Transportation's Central Bureau of Design and Environment shall publish and maintain a manual which establishes uniform policies and procedures for the location, design and environmental evaluation of highway construction projects on the state highway system. The purpose of this policy is to compile the policies and procedures which govern project location, design, and environmental evaluation into one comprehensive manual.

Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manual (2005, April)
This manual establishes and compiles uniform policies and procedures for the location, design and environmental evaluation of highway construction projects on the local highway system. The hard copy version is in loose-leaf format for frequent updating.

CADD Structures Drafting Reference Guide (2008, October)
This reference guide contains basic MicroStation and structure detailing information that shall be used in the preparation of structure plans for the Illinois Department of Transportation. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the IDOT CADD Roadway and Structure Project Deliverables Policy and the IDOT Bureau of Bridges and Structures Manuals.

For The Record is an annual report of the awards made by the Illinois Department of Transportation for the Illinois highway improvement program. Included are improvements made to both the state and local highway systems. The report details the status of each project in the annual program as published in the Proposed Highway Improvement Program and lists projects added to the program and awarded in addition to the originally published set of projects

The Highway Standards contain details on various design elements that are consistent from project to project and provide information on how to construct and arrange various design elements.

Manual for Fabrication of Precast Prestressed Concrete Products {periodical start}
This manual and addendum are the result of experience gained in the inspection of precast prestressed concrete products. It covers designs currently used in some detail and outlines practices and procedures that have been found to produce satisfactory results in the fabrication of precast prestressed concrete products. It is not intended to preclude the development and approval of other practices and procedures that will produce equally satisfactory or superior results. In the event that the Producer proposes methods that differ from those prescribed herein, the Producer shall inform the Illinois Department of Transportation immediately.
