Giannoulias asks banks to waive fees for Holocaust survivors (2008, January 22)
This press release issued by Office of Illinois State Treasurer: State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias is asking Illinois banks to voluntarily waive wire transfer fees on reparations from the German government paid to Holocaust survivors. "...this simple act pays homage to Holocaust survivors and speaks volumes about the commitment of Illinois banks to the well-being of our state's residents," Giannoulias said.

Office of the Illinois State Treasurer Request for Proposals Hispanic Outreach Services for the Unclaimed Property Division RFP March 2, 2005
The Office of the Illinois State Treasurer (Treasurer) recognizes the need for a Hispanic outreach services consultant for the Unclaimed Property Division. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to enter into an agreement with a vendor to provide outreach services to assist our Office.

Research Bulletin (4 2005, 6 December)
Findings in this Research Bulletin support the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission as it attempts to report to Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention the status of its disproportionate minority contact efforts by assessing racial disparity at the point of arrest and among commitments to IDOC for the entire state and for each of Illinois 102 counties.

Telling it like it was: Illinois Elders Share Their Stories
This small book is a compilation of brief histories of immigant groups and personal stories, which are accounts written from interviews of older residents of Illinois from many ethnic groups. Also, included is a list of ethnic museums with a list of underground railroad exhibits and programs.
