Illinois Child Death Review Teams: A Partnership for Protecting Children (2002)
In accordance with Public Act 88-614, nine Illinois Child Death Review Teams review cases of unexpected and unexplained deaths of children age seventeen years or younger who have been known to the Department of Children and Family Services as well as the deaths of other children who died unexpectedly. This report summarizes the findings of the cases reviewed by the review teams and presents the recommendations made to the Director of the Department of Children and Family Services and to other agencies.
