Report by the Department of Children and Family Services, which is Illinois designated agency responsible to receive the Basic State Grant under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act and continues to comply with the requirements as stipulated in Title 1 section 106 (b) of the Act. The Department is the state agency given the responsibility by the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act (ANCRA) to conduct investigations of child maltreatment and to arrange for needed services for families where credible evidence of abuse and neglect exits (Indicated cases).

Illinois Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol: A Report to the General Assembly (2002)
This document is the seventh annual report to the Illinois General Assembly regarding the implementation, reliability and validity of the Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol (CERAP). Public Act 88-614 required the development of this protocol and mandated an annual report to the General Assembly. CERAP training and certification is required for all direct service child welfare caseworkers, investigators, and supervisors, from both the public and private sectors. This years report is based upon information provided through research conducted by the Child and Family Research Center (CFRC) at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Management Audit of the Flu Vaccine Procurement and the I-SaveRX Program
On May 30, 2005, the Illinois House of Representatives adopted House Resolution Number 394 which directs the Auditor General to conduct a management audit of the process followed in negotiating and entering into the contract with Ecosse Hospital Products Limited and in establishing and operating the I-SaveRx Program. Regarding the contract with Ecosse Hospital Products Limited, the Resolution directed the Auditor General to determine the roles played by the Office of the Governor and the Special Advocate for Prescription Drugs in negotiating and entering into the flu vaccine contract.

The three-year Illinois State Plan on Aging is the planning document that the Illinois Department on Aging produces to guide Older Americans Act-related programmatic activities and services for older adults, family caregivers and grandparents raising grandchildren. The Plan establishes priorities and identifies Department on Aging initiatives in fulfilling its overall mission to serve and advocate for older Illinoisans and their caregivers.
