Addendum to the Report to the Legislature of the State of Illinois: The Illinois Pilot Program on Sequential Double-Blind Identification Procedures (2006, June 19)
A month after the publication of the "Report to the Legislature Of the State of Illinois: The Illinois Pilot Program on Sequential Double-blind Identification Procedures," Loyola University of Chicago School of Law sponsored a conference, "New Policies, New Practices: Fresh Perspectives on Eyewitness Identification," for a thought-provoking discussion of the Report and its implications for the future of eyewitness identification. Conference attendees urged that this Addendum be posted to guide further research and practice and reach a better understanding of eyewitness identification.

Americas Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response: AMBER Alert Notification Plan Executive Summary
As a result of Public Act 92-0259 and in cooperation with the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, Illinois Sheriffs Association, and the Illinois State Clearinghouse for Missing and Exploited Children, a statewide AMBER Alert Notification Plan was developed. This document is a brief summary of the plan.

The Annual Report is compiled on a fiscal year basis, which spans the twelve-month period from July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002.this report is organized along our eight programmatic lines (Patrol, Investigations, Forensics, Information & Technology, Communications, Human Resources, Integrity, and Agency Support). Special attention is given to projects related to Homeland Security and the Americas Missing Broadcast Emergency Response Plan. This program-based perspective effectively demonstrates the objectives of the projects accomplished.

Annual Report, Fiscal Year 2006 / Illinois State Police (covers July 1, 2005 - December 31, 2006)
The reporting period for this document contains activity conducted from July 1, 2005, through December 31, 2006. This is a change from previous reports which documented activity during the fiscal year covering July 1 through June 30. Therefore, the information contained may not be an accurate representation for comparative purposes. Future issues will document activity covering the calendar year only, and highlights some of the more important achievements. One of the most notable of all of ISPs accomplishments was that 2006 was the safest year on Illinois roadways in more than 8 years.

Annual Report: Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Council (2001)
In 1991, the General Assembly established the Illinois Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Council, an 11- member coalition uniquely comprising law enforcement and insurance industry officials, which has worked tirelessly to curtail vehicle theft, insurance fraud, and related crimes. The Illinois Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Act requires insurance companies to pay into a special trust fund an amount equal to $1 for each private passenger automobile insured for physical damage coverage. This amount collected and administered by the Council totals approximately $5.4 million each year. Funds are designated primarily for law enforcement programs that increase the investigation and prosecution of vehicle theft-related crimes.
